Weather

Hallo! Thank you for visiting my blog
.   .   all weather is driven by the sun's energy, which heats up the
air  ,  land  ,  and   sea;

Green House Effect
Green House effect and the seasons are two other factor affect weather and climate. One is the fact that the earth is title 23.5˚on it axis When one of the earth’s hemispheres , either North or South, tilts away from the sun.

The pole in that hemisphere get colder an winter sets in. A few month later, as the same hemisphere begins to tilt towards the sun , spring arrives as the tilt becomes pronounced, this give way to summer.

Without this tilt there would be no seasons, and the weather would be much the same all the year round.  The natural green house effect is which carbon dioxide and water vapour largely in the troposphere, trap heat on the earth’s surface.

Temperatures have varied greatly, mostly depending on the concentration of greenhouses gases in the atmosphere. All signs now suggest that a major temperature change is happening again, but this time humanity is the cause.
As a result of this, the average temperature of the earth surface is abouth 15˚C, which is some  33˚ warmer than it would be if there were no atmosphere.

Without this natural green house effect , life on earth as we know it would be impossible. But manmade pollution is adding to this greenhouse effect, causing alarming rise in world temperetures
 The weather phenomenon that brings cold air, wind and rain to the otherwise steamy Amazon rainforest is often met with confusion by tourists who find the air temperature beneath the cloudy Amazon skies to be colder than that of the thin-atmosphere Andes and their blue skies they experienced days or hours earlier. Locals on the other hand know to reach for and dust off their one and only sweater.

a cold wave is a rapid fall in temperature within a 24 hour period requiring substantially increased protection to agriculture, industry, commerce, and social activities. A cold wave can cause death and injury to livestock and wildlife.
Heat waves are long periods of abnormally high temperatures. These two characteristics increase the relative temperature or heat index to dangerous levels. Because heatwaves are not visible as other forms of severe weather are, like hurricanes, tornadoes, and thunderstorms, they are one of the less known forms of extreme weather.

The weather works rather like a finely balanced central heating system. The sun is the fuel, weather  phenomena that are at the extremes of the historical distribution, especially  severe or unseasonal weather.

The most commonly used definition of extreme weather is based on an event's climatological distribution. Extreme weather occurs only 5% or less of the time Vapor in the air increases because large amounts of sea water is vaporized due to global warming, this can easily cause extreme weather events.

In terms of temperature, global warming not only means the rising of the worldwide average temperature, but also the increased variation of temperatures.

Air and Water
The sun’s energy continually keeps in motion within the troposphere 5.6 quadrillions ton of air, and 13 trillion tonnes of water mostly held as vapour. Each year this produces about 110 trillion tonnes of water falling as rain and snow across the earth’s land surface.
